We participated in the Earth Hour / Lights Out thing on Saturday, March 28.
The dogs got prepped for bed early. Tween got ready too, and I last-minute finished a blog entry by 8:28 p.m. Hubby turned off the light just as I powered down the computer. I lit a candle to take my blood pressure medication, then the three of us piled into our kind size bed.
We spent the hour telling stories, talking about life, and enjoying the darkness (even tho Tween is still somewhat afraid of the dark). We didn't have even one argument, which, if you knew our family, you'd know is unusual.
Perhaps next year, we'll have a little party and tell stories then too. Sounds good.

Trying to figure out how to make our little farmette somewhat profitable so
Hubby can quit job in a couple of years. Since we might not be getting any
cash...
