After we finished the taxes, we took a little time today (Monday) to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. Two years ago, on Friday, April 13 2007, my son and I married Hubby. It was a small wedding, with only a few family and friends there. We didn't go anywhere for a honeymoon (who can afford it!), but we enjoyed our time together (Son spent a few days with his new grandma!).
This is how our 2nd anniversary went: we dropped off our taxes at the post office, bought a brush at the Family Dollar store, bought some supplies to keep better tack of our expenses, then the three of us had lunch at Red Robin (very expensive and not really worth the money). Afterwards, we saw the moving "Knowing" at a local cinema. Big mistake. It was way way WAY too graphic for Son - he ended up sitting in the hallway, sobbing. Can't trust the rating system any more.
After the movie, we came home, packed up Hubby's car, fixed dinner, and he left again until Friday. We forgot to break open the bottle of honey mead. We didn't have enough time together.
I'm gonna miss him.
