We've never cooked lentils before. But since they are high in protein and good for us, we thought we'd give them a try. So Wifey cooked them with a little onion powder, drained off the extra water, then added them to our green salad, kinda like people do with chickpeas. Made Son promise to eat at least a teaspoon of the lentils. Added a few carrots from our garden, and bran muffins (cranberry-orange for Wifey and Hubby, and Son got plain). Simple but healthy dinner. We try.
