Whether it was Doug's voice mail to "9 Wants to Know" (a TV investigative team), my phone call to the Denver News Agency, my blog, or the tons of calls to the Denver Post, they must have wised up.
When Weslee bounded in to our bedroom this morning at 8 to see if he had more gifts to unwrap, we sent him down to eat breakfast and turned on the news. Less than a minute later there was a report how the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News both ran a re-print of yesterday's papers. Yippee!
I jumped out of bed, and within minutes was in the car heading for King Soopers (Krogers for other people). I picked up one of each, one of today's for each, and a Wall Street Journal. By the time I went through the store, picking up donuts and drinks for breakfast, and got back to the front, the rest of the newspapers were gone. I had gotten there just in time.
Amazing.
